The Lewiston Council on the Arts has partnered with organizers of the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival to create a satellite event in Lewiston. Committee members recently met to discuss plans for the Lewiston Film Festival, which will debut April 1-2.
The Barton Hill Hotel and Spa in Lewiston will host screenings of three new independent films at 7 p.m. Friday, April 1, and 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, April 2.
700 Center Street Juice Bistro and Cafe will provide artisan popcorn and specialty items for theatergoers. Special hotel packages also will be available for the weekend.
Watch for more information about specific films, which will include family-friendly options.
The BNFF is scheduled for April 13-17.
