The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, announces regular tickets for the Brian Wilson "Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary" concert scheduled for Sept. 28 sold out after just one weekend of availability.

General public regular tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. last Friday and were sold out by 3:30 a.m. Saturday, making the concert the fastest sell-out in the Center for the Arts' 21-year history (beating the previous record set by Bonnie Raitt in 2015).

Thomas Burrows, executive director of the Center for the Arts, stated, "Our fall 2015 season was tremendously successful with more sold-out events than ever before. We are pleased to continue the upward trajectory with this legendary artist performing one of popular music's most influential and revered albums."

The Center for the Arts also just announced the Tedeschi Trucks Band for their first-ever two-night engagement in Buffalo (May 7-8). Response has been very strong; the Saturday concert is already approaching a sell-out. More details are available at www.ubcfa.org.
