NBC Sports presents a matchup of division leaders this week, as Cam Newton and the undefeated Carolina Panthers (NFC South, 5-0) host DeMarco Murray and the Philadelphia Eagles (NFC East, 3-3) from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, on NBC's "Sunday Night Football." Coverage begins with "Football Night In America" - the most-watched weekly studio show in sports - at 7 p.m. ET.

The Panthers have won five straight games to open the season, including last week's come-from-behind victory in Seattle, as quarterback Cam Newton threw a touchdown pass to tight end Greg Olsen in the final minute of the fourth quarter to give Carolina a 27-23 win over the Seahawks. The Eagles enter the weekend as the NFC East leaders after a 27-7 win over the Giants on Monday night, highlighted by Murray's 109 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Eagles-Panthers is the second game in a stretch of three consecutive "SNF" matchups featuring at least one undefeated team - a first this late in the season in the show's 10 years. The 5-0 Patriots defeated the Colts 34-27 this past Sunday. Next Sunday, Nov. 1, features a battle of unbeatens as Aaron Rodgers and the 6-0 Green Bay Packers visit Peyton Manning and the 6-0 Denver Broncos.

Calling Eagles-Panthers are seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his record 30th season as the voice of the NFL's premier primetime package; 16-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth, who has won the Emmy for Outstanding Event Analyst in each of his six seasons in the "SNF" booth; and two-time Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
