Niagara River Region Chamber: 'Share the Bounty Weekend' wine tour

The Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce has organized the third annual "Chamber Wine Tour," coinciding with the Niagara Wine Trail "Share the Bounty" event, set for Saturday, Nov. 14. The tour has grown into an annual event complete with a charter bus, six winery stops, snacks and concluding with dinner at The Brickyard Pub & B.B.Q.

The Niagara Wine Trail is celebrating "Share the Bounty" Nov. 12-15 by donating funds to many charities across the community. The Chamber of Commerce also is collecting canned goods and nonperishable food items for the Ransomville Food Pantry. Each "Chamber Wine Tour" attendee is asked to bring at least four of these items to give to the pantry.

The tour departs from Center Street in the Village of Lewiston at noon. Check-in is at 11:45 a.m. The bus will travel to seven wineries throughout the afternoon and will conclude with dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. The cost per person is $85 and includes transportation, all wine tastings, gratuity and dinner.
