The walls are going up fast and interior electrical work has begun as the future Golisano Center for Community Health takes shape on the 10th Street side of the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center campus. The innovative center, which is supported by a $3.5 million gift from businessman and philanthropist Tom Golisano, will provide an array of integrated health care services to adults with special needs, including intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well to their families.
Located adjacent to the ER1 Emergency Department and Heart Center of Niagara, the center is scheduled for completion in 2016. The general contractor is Telco Construction Inc.
