Influential guitarist a founding member of KISS
The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, presents Ace Frehley at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21. Tickets ($42.50, $35.50, $29.50) are on sale now. Buffalo-based band KLEAR will open the concert.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Frehley operates in his own musical galaxy. He's a musical maverick and iconoclast adored by millions of fans around the world. Through his seminal work with KISS and as a solo artist, he is championed as one of the most influential guitar players of the past four decades. He has released six solo albums, and his 1978 eponymous debut yielded the hit song "New York Groove." His most recent recording is 2014's "Space Invader."
The concert will include a mix of his solo work and KISS favorites.
