National Grid ranked top green utility in the world

Earlier this week, National Grid PLC landed the No. 1 spot as a utility on Newsweek's Top Green Companies in the World 2015, ranking 29th overall.

The Newsweek Green Rankings are one of the world's leading corporate environmental rankings, measuring corporate sustainability and environmental impact. Every year, the project ranks the 500 largest publicly traded companies globally on their overall environmental performance using eight specific indicators. Based on those indicators, National Grid received a green score of 71.4 percent.
