Jane Armbruster, MPH, CFRE, has been appointed vice president, foundation and community relations, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Armbruster is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she was awarded a master's degree in public health, focusing on population studies and health behavior and education.
She has enjoyed a long and successful career in higher education advancement and fundraising, most recently serving as associate vice president for development at Buffalo State College, where she and her team launched the most ambitious campaign in the college's history, surpassing a $20 million fundraising goal more than a year ahead of schedule.
Her previous fundraising positions include appointments as assistant dean and senior director of development in the University at Buffalo's School of Management; director of development at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health; and director of development at the College of Architecture and Urban Studies, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
A former registered nurse and current certified yoga instructor, Armbruster is the co-chair of the International Institute of Buffalo board of directors and a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo endowment committee and Niagara Frontier Bicycling Club.
She holds a certified fundraising executive credential from the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
