Tops markets to unveil new summer 'Price Lock Guarantee' list May 10

Guaranteed low prices on seasonal favorites, everyday items and value packs will help shoppers stretch their dollars throughout the summer

Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in upstate New York, northern Pennsylvania and western Vermont, announced today it will roll out a new, summer "Price Lock Guarantee" list. The new lower prices are effective from May 10 until July 18, and the list will include summer-themed products and other staple items shoppers purchase regularly.

Tops' new list of "Price-Lock Guarantee" items will include seasonal foods like Ball Park meat franks, Ball Park flame-grilled fully cooked burgers, fresh sweet corn and classic condiments like Heinz ketchup and Dinosaur Bar-B-Que sauce. New in this list are value packs on household essentials such as bath tissue, paper towels, Irish Spring bar soap and Clorox bleach. The new lineup of products also includes everyday items including Skippy peanut butter, Pasta Roni sides, Chiquita bananas and Bumble Bee tuna. In addition, shoppers will continue to earn double GasPoints when they purchase "Price Lock Guarantee" items beginning May 17.
