Investigating pumpkins at St. Peter School

What vegetable plays a crucial role during the autumn months? Pumpkins, of course.

This year, for the students in Carly Lauzonis' first- and Jenn Riccuti's fifth-grade classes at St. Peter's School, pumpkins were the topic of a five-day interdisciplinary STEM research project. Pictured are students experimenting to see if different kinds of pumpkins float or sink.
