'The Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Rocks Extravaganza' at UB

The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, presents "The Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Rocks Extravaganza! with Special Guests The Record Company" at 7:30 p.m.  Sunday, Nov. 23. Tickets are on sale now.

The Brian Setzer Orchestra, fronted by three-time Grammy Award-winner Brian Setzer, returns with the "Christmas Rocks Extravaganza!" tour. With a career spanning more than 30 years, Setzer has smash hits as founder/leader of The Stray Cats, his 18-piece Brian Setzer Orchestra and as a solo artist. His November concert will include hits such as "Rock This Town," "(She's) Sexy +17," "Stray Cat Strut," and "Jump, Jive and Wail," as well as his re-imagined and acclaimed holiday classics.

Setzer donated his signature orange Gretsch guitar to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History during a ceremony Oct. 17. The replica guitar is evocative of Setzer's original 1959 Gretsch 6120 "Stray Cat" guitar.

Setzer's latest album, "Rockabilly Riot! All Original," was released in August.
