The annual German Harvest Dinner, hosted by the Historical Society of North German Settlements of WNY, will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, in the St. James Fellowship Hall, located behind the church at Rohr and Niagara Streets in Bergholz.
The menu will be the traditional pork chop dinner with all the usual side dishes.
The cost is $20 with tickets purchased in advance. Contact Dianne Retzlaff at 716-731-9763 to order dinners.
The program this year will be "Early inhabitants of the Niagara Escarpment," presented by Nona McQuay from the History Center of Niagara. McQuay will discuss the Niagara County portion of the 750-mile Niagara Escarpment.
