12th annual Mount St. Mary's 'River Run' set for June 21

Benefits hospital's outpatient rehabilitation center services

Mount St. Mary's Hospital will hold its 12th annual "River Run" Saturday, June 21. The USATF-sanctioned 5K run/2-mile walk starts at 9 a.m. The course starts and ends at the Red Brick Municipal Building in the Village of Lewiston, with a main portion of the course following Lower River Road in Lewiston.

Registration will be held from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. at the Red Brick, 145 N. Fourth St. The post-race party is at 10 a.m., and the awards ceremony 10:30 a.m. The finish line is provided by Race Management Solutions.

An entry form is now available at www.msmh.org. Entry fees will be accepted the day of the race ($28 for runners and $18 for walkers). Make checks payable to Mount St. Mary's Foundation, 5300 Military Road, Lewiston NY 14092.

Proceeds from the race will be used for new equipment at the Mount St. Mary's Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Services on Colomba Drive in the Town of Niagara. The center offers a complete array of outpatient rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as sports medicine, athletic training and the Lymphedema treatment program.
