"Dancing with the Stars" premieres Monday, March 17
This season's new cast of "Dancing with the Stars" will be revealed live, Tuesday, March 4, exclusively on "Good Morning America" (7-9 a.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The competition begins with an all new cast of celebrities who will brave the dance floor for the very first time. Each week these celebrities will leave their comfort zones and endure hours of grueling rehearsals to master technical choreography and entertaining performances. In the end, only one star will rise above the rest to be crowned champion and win the coveted mirror-ball trophy.
Erin Andrews joins "Dancing with the Stars" as host alongside Emmy-Award winner Tom Bergeron for the show's 18th season, premiering Monday, March 17 (8 p.m.). No stranger to the ballroom, Andrews competed on the 10th season of "Dancing with the Stars" making it all the way to the finals.
After spending eight years at ESPN, Andrews joined FOX Sports in 2012. She was most recently seen covering Super Bowl XLVIII and last year's World Series. Additionally, she hosted FOX's Prime Time College Football Pregame Show. Andrews has also won two Sports Emmy Awards in her career.
This season, "DWTS" also welcomes new music director and composer Ray Chew to the ballroom. Continuing a tradition of live musical accompaniment, Chew's band will feature a new lineup of musicians and singers performing music ranging from the latest pop hits to the great standards of the past.
