Band to perform Sunday live on FOX during Super Bowl pregame show

The Band Perry received two nominations this week from the Academy of Country Music for "Vocal Group of The Year" and "Music Video of The Year" for their No. 1 smash "Better Dig Two." In 2012 and 2013, the band received nominations in the "Vocal Group of the Year" category. In 2011, the award-winning trio was nominated for five Academy of Country Music Awards and won "New Artist of the Year."

"It's such an honor to find out about our two ACM Award nominations," said Reid Perry. "We love the theatrics that happen in Vegas, and remember, what happens in Vegas ... gets broadcast on live TV."

The 2014 Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast from Las Vegas Sunday, April 6, on CBS.

Last week, the NFL and FOX announced The Band Perry would perform as part of the Super Bowl XLVIII pregame show in East Rutherford, N.J. on Sunday, Feb. 2. They will perform at the NFL tailgate party, and part of their performance will be televised live on FOX Super Bowl Sunday.

"We're all huge football fans, and there's nothing more exciting than to be a part of football's biggest day," said Neil Perry. "We've been up in Canada on our 'We Are Pioneers World Tour' for the past month, so we're just glad it will be above zero degrees in New York!"

The Band Perry kick off the U.S. run of their "We Are Pioneers World Tour" today in Bangor, Maine, at the Cross Insurance Center. With never-before-seen production and a brand new set list, fans around the world have been dazzled by one of music's hottest acts, and it's now time to bring the show home to America.

Additionally, later this summer, The Band Perry will hit the road with Blake Shelton on his "Ten Times Crazier Tour 2014." The tour kicks off in June and will visit cities including Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City.

"We pride ourselves on living on the road," said Kimberly Perry. "So when Blake called to ask us to join him, of course we couldn't say no! There's nothing like getting to see the joy and excitement on our fans' faces, and we can't wait to meet new fans this summer."
