This weekend's Ducks-Kings and Devils-Rangers matchups are the first two of four games comprising the NHL Stadium Series, a new set of four outdoor games to be held at iconic outdoor stadiums in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. The NHL Stadium Series dovetails off of the Winter Classic, which NBC Sports co-created along with the NHL and has produced the six most-watched NHL regular-season games in the past 39 years.

Coverage of the NHL Stadium Series continues Wednesday, Jan. 29, with Rangers-Islanders from Yankee Stadium, and concludes Saturday, March 1, with Penguins-Blackhawks from Soldier Field in Chicago.

Dave Strader (play-by-play), Brian Engblom (analyst) and Roenick will have the call from Dodger Stadium, inside the same broadcast booth that usually hosts legendary Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully. The Ducks are the top team in the NHL (37-9-5, 79 points) and have not lost at home in regulation this season (20-0-2), while the Kings (29-15-6, 64 points) have allowed the fewest goals in the NHL (103).

Twelve hours following the conclusion of Ducks-Kings from Los Angeles, NBC's coverage of Devils-Rangers from Yankee Stadium begins at 12:30 p.m. ET. Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike "Doc" Emrick, analyst Eddie Olczyk and Emmy Award-winning "Inside-the-Glass" analyst Pierre McGuire will have the call from Yankee Stadium in The Bronx. "NHL Live's" Liam McHugh (host), Mike Milbury (analyst), Keith Jones (analyst) and Roenick will be on-site at Yankee Stadium to provide pre- and post-game analysis, as well as commentary during intermissions.

Roenick will be flying directly from Dodger Stadium to Yankee Stadium in time to provide commentary for Devils-Rangers, following the Ducks-Kings game in Los Angeles. The Rangers are 27-21-3 (57 points), and have won three straight games heading into Tuesday night's game against the New York Islanders, while the Devils sit six points behind the Rangers in the Metropolitan Division (20-19-11, 51 points).
