Riviera Theatre presents American Legion Band of the Tonawandas

The Historic Riviera Theatre presents the American Legion Band of the Tonawandas Veterans Day concert on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m.

Hear the 85-member American Legion National Championship Band, conducted by Michael Shaw, perform symphonic pops program in the style and tradition of John Philip Sousa. On the program are famous marches, contemporary arrangements, and patriotic band spectaculars that audiences have come to expect from this award-winning national championship group.

On the program are famous marches, "Commando March" by Samuel Barber; "Old Ironsides" by J. Middendorf; "Salute to the Armed Services" by R. Cray; "Tin Pan Alley!" arranged by Warren Barker; "Thank You, Soldiers" by Michael and Angela Souders; "Army of the Nile" by Kenneth Alford, "I Dreamed a Dream" (from "Les Miserables"), by Claude-Michel Schonberg; familiar show tunes and rousing military band spectaculars.
