Members help out at chicken fundraiser
At the last meeting of the Grand Island American Legion Post No. 1346, the new officers for 2013-14 were installed.
In the firs picture,, installed were, from left, George DeGlopper (adjutant), Peter Kuszczak (finance officer), Fred Wornick (commander), Rick Schmitz (first vice commander), Joe Mesmer (chaplain) and Ray DeGlopper (second vice commander). Pictured at left, members of Post No. 1346 helped out on June 5 at the Pfc. Charles N. DeGlopper Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9249 Chiavetta's chicken sale.
In the second picture, from left, are Wornick, Clarence Beard (service officer), Schmitz and Rick Bonarek (honor guard).
