While the Avett Brothers technically kicked off Artpark's 40th anniversary on May 24, many will consider the upcoming week as the official start of the summer season.
First, Artpark & Company will celebrate four decades of artistic excellence at tonight's gala. The event will include a high-end raffle and live music from The Bobby Militello Quartet, Buffalo native Ashlee Amoia, and Frankie Scinta.
Then, "Tuesday in the Park" begins its 12-week run with famed '80s musician Billy Idol on June 4. Tickets to watch the sneering punk rocker are on sale now.
Finally, the third annual family-friendly Fairy House Festival returns to the park grounds June 9.
