Youngstown Veterans of Foreign War Post 313 will hold a Memorial Day ceremony at the Fort Niagara War of 1812 Cemetery on Monday at 11 a.m. VFW members, accompanied by the Lewiston-Porter Air Force Junior ROTC Color Guard, will march from the Fort Niagara Officers Club to the cemetery to begin the ceremony.
A reception and open house will be held at the post, 434 Third St., after the ceremony. The post will hold a disposal ceremony for unserviceable flags during the reception. Residents who have unserviceable flags can drop them off at or bring them to the reception. For more information, contact Lance at 716-745-7524.
