Ceretto to host Facebook town hall meeting

Assemblyman John Ceretto, R-I-Lewiston, will be hosting a Facebook town hall meeting on his Facebook page Tuesday, April 16, from to 7 p.m. Constituents will be able to post questions and comments about the issues that most affect them and their communities, including gun control, job creation, casino gaming, education funding and tourism.

"This Facebook town hall provides a unique opportunity to use social media to receive questions and comments from my constituents and provide instant feedback on issues of vital importance to Western New York," Ceretto said. "I welcome the valuable input of the people that I represent and will take it back to Albany with me to better represent the people who elected me."

Those wishing to participate in the Facebook town hall should go to Ceretto's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/John-D-Ceretto/182498981761714?fref=ts), like the page, and then post their question on Ceretto's wall. Ceretto will then post his reply as a comment. Constituents can then follow up on that thread and start a dialogue with Ceretto up until 7 p.m.
