"German Customs at Eastertime" will be the topic at the first evening meeting of the season of the Historical Society of North German Settlements in WNY at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in the Wheatfield Community Center.
The speaker will be Randall Warblow, a history researcher for the society and a member of its board of trustees.
He is also a former trustee of the North Tonawanda History Museum. He will speak on the same topic at its museum on Oliver St. in North Tonawanda at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 23.
One thing that Warblow will claim is that the Easter Rabbit is German.
Light refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome to attend.
