Niagara County Board of Elections reports that the last day to register to vote in the Nov. 6 general election is Friday, Oct. 12.

The Board of Elections will have local registration for those voters who have either moved, or never registered to vote on Thursday, Oct. 11, until 7 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 13, from 2 to 9 p.m.

Voting registration forms are available at all post offices, banks, public libraries, town and city halls and the Board of Elections, 111 Main St., Suite 100, Lockport. Forms are also available on the BOE website, www.elections.niagara.ny.us.

Any voters who wish to change their party enrollment will need to have a registration form in the BOE office by Oct. 12. Those who have moved since voting last must reregister to be eligible.

Those who are going to be out of the county on Election Day will need to apply for an absentee ballot by calling 716-438-4045 or 716-438-4043.
