The importance of screening for prostate cancer will be the focus Saturday when the Niagara Falls O.G. Cruisers and Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center go "Cruisin' for a Cure."
The Roswell Park Lancer Institute and MAN UP - Minorities Allied for the Need to Understand Prostate Cancer - also will join the annual classic car cruise from the Cataract City to Buffalo's Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Saturday's cruise will start in front of Niagara Falls Memorial at 9:15 a.m. and proceed to Buffalo accompanied by a police escort. The "Cruisin' for a Cure" classic car show will take place, rain or shine, at Roswell Park Cancer Institute from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free prostate cancer screenings will take place from noon until 2 p.m.
Additional highlights will include door prizes and raffles, music, food for sale and goodie bags. Car show registration will be $10. General admission to the event will be free of charge.
