Track and field 400m hurdles gold medal finals in primetime on NBC

Team USA women's soccer quarterfinal vs. Canada live on NBC Sports Network at 2:45 p.m.; Team USA men's basketball vs. Argentina live on NBC Sports Network at 5:15 p.m.

Team gymnastics and all-around gold medalist Gabby Douglas, competes in her signature event, the uneven bars, Monday night on NBC. Also in primetime, American team captain Jonathan Horton competes on the rings. On the track, two-time Olympic champion Angelo Taylor, two-time world champion Kerron Clement and first-time Olympian Michael Tinsley race in the 400m hurdles gold medal final.

Live on NBC Sports Network, Team USA women's soccer competes in the quarterfinals vs.Canada at 2:45 p.m. Team USA men's basketball, led by Kobe Bryant and Lebron James, continues its run at the gold against Argentina, whose roster includes fellow NBA players Manu Ginobili and Luis Scola.

NBC's daytime coverage features Team USA men's water polo vs. Hungary live at 10:30 a.m. Team USA men's volleyball takes on Tunisia live on NBC at 3 p.m.

•Live coverage of the U.S. men's volleyball team against Tunisia. The American men won their first Olympic gold in 20 years in Beijing and have been surging recently as they look to repeat as Olympic champions.

•Live coverage of the U.S. men's water polo team against three-time defending Olympic champion Hungary. The U.S. men earned a surprise silver in Beijing, but are focused on gold in London. Led by captain Tony Azevedo, the team sacrificed hundreds of thousands of dollars collectively by not playing professionally overseas this year to train together for the Olympics.

•Live coverage of track cycling, plus equestrian's team jumping final. Also, qualifying rounds in canoeing and synchronized swimming.

•Three more gold medals are up for grabs in gymnastics, with the women's uneven bars and the men's rings and vault. Gabby Douglas is one of the best bars workers in the world. On the men's side, Chinese strongman Chen Yibing, the reigning world and Olympic champion, will try to cement his status as king of the rings. American team captain Jonathan Horton, who improved dramatically in the last year in this upper body event while nursing a broken foot, is the top American. And on vault, South Korea's spring-loaded 19-year-old sensation Yang Hak-Seon showcases the world's most difficult vault.

•On the track, 19-year-old Caribbean Kirani James, the reigning world champion, is favored to win Grenada's first ever Olympic medal in the men's 400m. While in the hurdles, two-time Olympic champion Angelo Taylor and two-time world champion Kerron Clement join first-time Olympian Michael Tinsley on an ultra-deep U.S. team. And in the pole vault, Western New York's Beijing silver medalist Jenn Suhr, who is coached by her husband, Rick, renews her rivalry with two-time defending Olympic champion Yelena Isinbayeva of Russia.

•On the sand at majestic Horse Guards Parade, the quarterfinals of beach volleyball continue, with a single loss meaning the end of an Olympic run. Americans Jake Gibb and Sean Rosenthal are vying to win their first Olympic medal.

•In the Aquatics Centre, former Georgia star Chris Colwill and Texas alum Troy Dumais, the first American since Greg Louganis to compete at four Olympics, take aim at the world's best in the men's springboard.

•The final night of gymnastics features an array of American medal hopefuls. Needham, Mass., native Aly Raisman, the senior member of Team USA at age 18, should compete for medals on her two signature events: floor exercise and balance beam. Michigan's Jordyn Wieber, the 2011 world all-around champion, is also among the contenders on floor exercise. On the men's side, Cuban-born Danell Leyva and 2008 Olympic silver medalist Jonathan Horton will compete on high bar.

•An ultra-deep stable of American hurdlers includes 2008 Olympic champion Dawn Harper, 2011 U.S. champion Kellie Wells, and Lolo Jones, who four years after her heartbreaking stumble in Beijing cost her a sure gold medal, targets redemption in London. Meanwhile, a pair of American milers aims for the first American medal in the 1500m since the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. American high jump sensation Jesse Williams, a USC alum and 2011 world champion, is among the favorites for gold.

•On the sand at majestic Horse Guards Parade, beach volleyball moves into the semifinals. Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings are eyeing a golden three-peat after sweeping the competition in Athens and Beijing.
