Singer and actress Lovato started in show business as a pre-teen and rose quickly. By the time she was 15, she was a bona fide TV star cultivating a promising singing career. Over the past several years, while maintaining a rigorous TV and film shooting schedule, Lovato released three successful solo albums, "Don't Forget" (2008), "Here We Go Again" (2009) and "Unbroken (2011); all chart-topping debuts.

The debut single, "Skyscraper," off of her latest album, "Unbroken," debuted at No. 1 on iTunes' chart and recently went platinum. Her new single, "Give Your Heart a Break," is already gold and the video has garnered 22 million YouTube views. Earlier this year, Lovato accepted the People's Choice Award for Favorite Pop Artist, an award chosen solely by the fans. She is currently on her U.S. summer tour and will serve as one of the judges on "The X Factor," premiering Wednesday, Sept. 12 (8 to 10 p.m.), and Thursday, Sept. 13 (8 p.m.), on FOX.

At "Teen Choice" 2011, Lovato was the recipient of the inaugural ACUVUE Inspire Award, in recognition of her work with the Jed Foundation's Love is Louder movement. She continues to inspire teens this year in her role as a celebrity mentor for the ACUVUE 1-DAY Contest, showing them that they too can fulfill their dreams.
