Country sensation Emerson Drive coming to NU

The up-and-coming country band Emerson Drive is coming to Niagara University this Friday, March 23. The concert begins at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Gallagher Center.

This is a benefit concert put on by Niagara University Student Government Association. All proceeds will go directly to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project is an organization dedicated to raising money for injured service members. Aluminum water bottles and wristbands will also be sold at the event in cooperation with the Wounded Warriors Project.

Emerson Drive is a Canadian group that reached fame in the U.S. with such singles as "I Should Be Sleeping" and its No. 1 single, "Moments."

Tickets are $5 per person. Each student will be able to purchase up to three tickets, which can be purchased at Campus Activities in the Gallagher Center. The concert is open to anyone -- both students and non-students.

So come out Friday night to jam to some good music while also supporting a great cause.
