Wheatfield Pediatrics, located at 2890 Niagara Falls Blvd., in Wheatfield, recently broke ground to mark the start of the construction of an additional 4,000-square-feet of space to its existing building. Construction is scheduled for completion in late spring.
The current facility was built in 2000 as a partnership between doctors Douglas A. Schultz and Joseph C. Wittmann Jr. Since the inception of Wheatfield Pediatrics they have added several providers to the group including doctors Ann Marie Jobes and Lisa "Tollini" Reichert, two pediatric nurse practitioners, Susan M. Stead and Jennifer A. Manka, and one physician assistant, Mark D. Pinzel.
Wheatfield Pediatrics provides primary care services to children ranging from newborn to age 21.
The expanded space will help to better manage patient volume and a variety of patient care needs. The expansion project will add more examination rooms and a floor plan that improves patient flow.
"This project is one example of the many ways the physicians of Wheatfield Pediatrics strives to fulfill their mission of providing exceptional primary care health services" said Sara DeVantier, practice manager. "Wheatfield Pediatrics is committed to offering high quality, convenient, cost-effective personal health care and will dedicate the time and resources necessary to give area residents qualified, compassionate physicians and medical staff to care for their health care needs"
