Taylor Swift to receive Ultimate Choice Award during 'Teen Choice 2011'

Multi-platinum superstar, four-time Grammy winner and multiple Teen Choice Award nominee Taylor Swift will receive the Ultimate Choice Award during "Teen Choice" 2011 airing Sunday, Aug. 7 (8-10 p.m. ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

Appearing live at "Teen Choice" 2011, Swift will receive the coveted award in recognition of her contributions to the entertainment industry. The Ultimate Choice Award is the Teen Choice Awards' highest honor. Past recipients include Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Mike Myers, as well as Venus and Serena Williams. Fans are encouraged to tweet why Taylor is their Ultimate Choice to @TeenChoiceGirl, and they may see their tweets featured during the show.

In addition, viewers can get an exclusive look at the "Teen Choice" 2011 red carpet and backstage action with a special live webcast airing Sunday, Aug. 7 (6:30-8 p.m. ET live) online at www.teenchoiceawards.com. Hosted by comedians Jordan Morris ("The Daily Habit") and Robin Thede ("In The Flow With Affion Crockett"), the webcast will cover all the action at one of the summer's hottest events and highlight the stars as they arrive on the red carpet. Affion Crockett, star of "In The Flow With Affion Crockett," will also make special appearances on the webcast.
