Jerk chicken, island drinks, live music and limbo will greet guests next Sunday at the Wilson Boat House. Music promoter Steve Goodman is producing a "Caribbean Experience," complete with restaurant specials, entertainment and one very special guest.

Shemika Charles, the Western New York native who broke the Guinness World Record for lowest limbo, will be on hand to perform. Last fall, "Queen Shemika," as she's called, cleared a limbo bar just eight-and-a-half inches off the ground. She's since been featured on programs including "LIVE! with Regis and Kelly."

The Aug. 7 party begins at 2 p.m. with steel drum band Steel-N-Affix. Neville Francis will perform from 5 until 9 p.m., with Shemika dancing at the set break.

The Wilson Boat House is located at 57 Harbor St. For more information, call 751-6060.
