These days, fame moves at the speed of light, and lots of lucky teen singers have become overnight success stories, achieving instant fame thanks to the digital age. ABC News' "Good Morning America" wondered if it's possible to find an everyday teenage girl and launch her into superstardom in just one week. Partnering with California-based record label Ark Music Factory, "GMA" auditioned dozens of excited teens in a Los Angeles mall in search of the next star. Ark executives weighed in on their performances, and four strong contenders ultimately emerged.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 28, "GMA" will surprise the lucky winner at her home, and on Wednesday viewers will get a peek behind the scenes of the making of her own original music video. The final video is revealed on Thursday's "GMA." How will America respond?
