Mount St. Mary's Hospital 9th annual 'River Run' set for June 18

Lace up your sneakers and get ready to participate in the ninth annual "River Run" to benefit Mount St. Mary's Hospital Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Services on Saturday, June 18.

The USATF-sanctioned 5K-run/2-mile walk starts at 9 a.m. The revised course starts and ends this year at the Red Brick School in the Village of Lewiston, with a main portion of the course again following Lower River Road in Lewiston.

Registration will be held from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. at the Red Brick School, 145 N. Fourth St.

A post-race party with food, fun and refreshments kicks off at 10 a.m. The finish line is provided by Western New York Finish Line Service. 

Entry fee received prior to June 1 is $18 for runners and $10 for walkers. Late entry fee day of race is $25 and $15. Make checks payable to Mount St. Mary's Hospital Foundation. Checks can be mailed to Mount St. Mary's Hospital, One Colomba Drive, Suite 5, Niagara Falls, NY 14305. 

Proceeds from the race benefit Mount St. Mary's Hospital Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Services on Colomba Drive in the Town of Niagara. The center offers a complete array of outpatient rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as sports medicine, athletic training and the Lymphedema treatment program.
