Niagara Metals' five-month-long "Customer and Community Appreciation Days" will finish up at noon on Saturday, June 4, with a grand prize drawing for a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 Truck. This will follow a morning filled with drawings for cash prizes up to $500 and a free breakfast prepared by Alp's Catering. The festivities and breakfast will start at 8 a.m. at the scrap metal dealer's main location at 4861 Packard Road in Niagara Falls.

Niagara Metals launched this first-ever "Customer and Community Appreciation Days" on Jan. 3 as a way to show its appreciation to both its customers and the community. The company kicked off the promotion by making donations totaling $15,000 to three local charities: Mercy Flight; Heart, Love and Soul Inc. Food Pantry and Dining Room; and Family and Children's Service of Niagara.

Since then, the promotion has featured weekly and monthly prize drawings for customers who sold them scrap metal at published scale prices.

Scrappers still have time to enter to win by filling out an entry form when selling scrap right up until the close of business on Tuesday, May 31. Forms are available at either of Niagara Metals' two locations, 4861 Packard Road in Niagara Falls and 8729 Rochester Road in Royalton.

At the June 4 celebration, cash prize drawing entrants must be present to win, but that's not the case for the new truck drawing. For additional information, visit www.niagarametals.com.
