Emphasis placed on Mainstage and outdoor concert events
Artpark & Company is seeking active, energetic volunteers to assist in upcoming summer performances, particularly the venue's Mainstage concert events (matinee and evening performances), "Tuesday in the Park" and "Coors Light Wednesdays" free concerts in the outdoor amphitheater.
All candidates must have exceptional communication skills and be physically able to traverse the park's uneven landscape (which includes staircases and inclined surfaces), and stand for extended periods of time. Volunteers are needed to man walkways; verify patron identification; as ushers; as ticket takers; to assist with raffles and giveaways; and perform various other tasks during performances.
The "Tuesday in the Park" free concert series runs for 12 consecutive weeks beginning June 14 and features national headliners as well as hands-on art activities for children. "Coors Light Wednesdays" concert dates will be announced this spring and follow a similar format. Both events begin at 6:30 p.m. and are free to the public. Afternoon and evening shifts are available for the outdoor Tuesday and Wednesday concerts, from 3 to 6 p.m. and from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
