Hard Rock's global Battle of the Bands gives WNY musicians chance to win a spot onstage in London

Do you have what it takes to open for a rock superstar? Calling all Niagara Falls rockers! Hard Rock International is giving local bands the chance to win a spot on the lineup at Hard Rock Calling 2011 in London's Hyde Park, one of the world's most anticipated music festivals! In celebration of the brand's 40th Anniversary, Hard Rock is launching its first global Hard Rock Battle of the Bands, giving the rock stars of tomorrow the opportunity of a lifetime.

Hard Rock Cafe - Niagara Falls, USA is on the hunt for the area's best talent to perform in Niagara Falls, USA's first round of the battle, where bands will compete live and be evaluated by a panel of local celebrity judges and area music professionals.

The winner of Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, USA's Battle of the Bands will be placed in one of four world regional categories, which will be narrowed down by a panel of acclaimed industry experts. Bands making it to the final phase will be posted on www.hardrock.com, where fans worldwide will vote on their favorites from each region.

All four regional winners will be flown to London, treated like rock stars and given a spot on the bill at Hard Rock Calling 2011, which will take place June 24 through June 26 in London's Hyde Park. The band that receives the most fan votes will open for one of the festival's iconic headliners on the Main Stage at Hard Rock Calling 2011, with the runners-up rockin' out on the Second Stage.
