Members of the Lewiston Dance Center were busy over the holidays, taking part in the Village of Lewiston Christmas tree lighting - where students danced outdoors in the falling snow - and performing at the Niagara Falls Fireman's Fund Telethon.

Owner/operator Rachel Novelli says the dance studio tries to perform for as many local events as they can fit into their studio schedule.

"The students enjoy performing and helping local charities," she adds. The next charity that the studio will be helping is the Variety Club of Buffalo where students will be participating in a daylong dance workshop that will benefit the Variety Club. The workshop is will take place at the Adams Mark Hotel in Buffalo on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011.
