Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce fills board of director positions

The Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce board of directors held elections to fill open positions at its Nov. 10 meeting.

Elected to serve three-year terms were Jeff Deming of Barton Hill Hotel & Spa, Debra C. Rougeux of HoganWillig Attorneys at Law, Margaret M. Toohey of The Lewiston Insurance Agency Inc., Gloria Baker of First Niagara Bank, Robert Emerson of Old Fort Niagara, and Jeff Stolar of Gorge Travel. Elected to a two-year term was Michael Dowd, attorney at law. Elected to a one-year term was Jamie Symmonds of Angel to Apple. Reappointed positions include: George Osborne of Artpark & Company, Michael Rhoney of Rhoney Funeral Home Inc., Rick Haight of Advanced Design Group, Ken Greulich of Dan & Lucy Wilson Realty, the Rev. Joseph Levesque of Niagara University and Jeff Baker of Peter Baker Farm. The board of directors also voted Earl W. Brydges Jr., attorney at law, as director emeritus.

The directors re-elected to serve as officers on the executive board were Osborne, chairman; Haight, first vice chairman; Baker, treasurer; and Kristen Trunzo, secretary, of Artzee. Board member Ken Scibetta of Lewiston Village Pub & Restaurant was elected to serve as second vice chairman of the executive committee.

The Chamber of Commerce will hold an end-of-the-year meeting and orientation for the board of directors at the Barton Hill Hotel & Spa in December.
