Rochester writer/author Sal Maiorana will be visiting the Barnes & Noble store at The Clarence Mall, 4401 Transit Road, on Saturday, Dec. 11, from noon to 2 p.m. to sign copies of his new book, "Buffalo Bills: The Complete Illustrated History," published in September by MVP Books. The event is free and open to the public.

Through stories, statistics, game-day summaries and almost 200 images, "Buffalo Bills: The Complete Illustrated History" offers a complete and entertaining history of the franchise, with highlights (and lowlights) from every season and profiles of the top players, coaches, and teams. With a foreword by Steve Tasker, a star player and a fan favorite during his 12 seasons with the team, "Buffalo Bills: The Complete Illustrated History" is considered essential reference for any fan of Bills football.

Maiorana has covered the Buffalo Bills for nearly two decades for the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. He is also a regular on various radio programs, makes weekly TV appearances during football season on WHAM-TV, and is the author of 11 books, including "Stadium Stories: Buffalo Bills" and "Game of My Life: Memorable Stories of Buffalo Bills Football."
