WellNow's Lewiston urgent care site getting closer to opening

River Region residents have noticed more activity at the new WellNow Urgent Care site on Center Street in Lewiston. Furniture and television screens can be seen inside the windows, and the company sign was recently installed on the building’s exterior.

“We are finished with the buildout at this location, so still on track to open during the first half of the year,” Public Relations Manager Annie Keller said on Monday. “An opening date has not been confirmed yet, but we are actively hiring at this site. Keller previously told NFP, “We’re very excited to be bringing convenient care to the Lewiston community. We recognized that there was a need and opportunity to provide local residents with greater access to quality care with shorter wait times, walk-in service and lower costs than the traditional emergency room.
