Destination Niagara USA Press Release

From Thursday, April 4, through Monday, April 8, Niagara Falls USA will host NASA subject matter experts for engaging discussions about the eclipse. The series of free and open-to-the-public programming will be held at various points of interest throughout the city.

Viewing the total solar eclipse in Niagara Falls was ranked No. 11 on National Geographic’s “Best of the World” list for travel adventures in 2024, and the addition of programming by NASA makes the destination even more appealing for this once-in-a-lifetime event.

Visitors and locals will have the opportunity to learn from these experts and gain insights into the science and wonder of this rare astronomical event. Additionally, astronauts will make appearances, adding a unique perspective to the discussions and activities.

The NASA program schedule has just been announced, with events taking place at Niagara Falls State Park, the Aquarium of Niagara, the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center, the Niagara Power Vista, the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute, Niagara Falls Public Libraries and the Niagara Aerospace Museum.
