Niagara Falls State Park announces drawing for Indigenous artisan permits

The drawing for six permits for the 2024 Indigenous Artisan Market at Niagara Falls State Park will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, at the DeVeaux Woods State Park Castellani Building, 3160 DeVeaux Woods Drive E., Niagara Falls.

Applications for the permit lottery are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at DeVeaux Woods State Park, or online at https://parks.ny.gov/parks/46/. They are due back by Friday, March 22.

Applications may be dropped off or mailed to DeVeaux Woods State Park or emailed back to [email protected]. To have a permit application mailed, call 716-278-1770.

Six permits will be awarded. Applicants are welcome to attend, but not required to be present. This is a change from previous years.

To be eligible for a permit, applicants must be 18 years of age or older, and have Indigenous tribal membership or provide verifiable proof of Indigenous heritage.
