Marilyn P. Synakowski passed away on Jan. 20, 2024, at Elderwood Grand Island, where she had been a resident for five months.
She was the beloved wife of “Joe”/John Synakowski; the sister of Pauline Sojka; loving aunt of Frances Fentzke and Patricia Allen. Marilyn was predeceased by her sisters: Kathryn Fentzke and Eva Moranco.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at St. Stephen R.C. Church, 2100 Baseline Road, with burial immediately following in St. Stephen Cemetery. The Mass will be livestreamed at www.ststephenswny.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) in Marilyn’s name.
