Are you a resident of Youngstown and Town of Porter and enjoy trying out various types of chili, and/or have a favorite chili recipe to share? How about entering your delicious chili into a fierce competition in the early afternoon of Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 11 at Bandana’s Bar & Grill at 930 Lake Road in Youngstown? The game doesn’t start until 6:30 p.m., so you’ll have plenty of time to get home for the Super Bowl.

If you have an amazing chili recipe, you are invited to bring a pot of your best chili to Bandana's by 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 11, but be sure to call Bandana's at 716-745-1010 in advance to register. All are also invited to come on Super Bowl Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. to try the delectable chilies. Sample more than a dozen chilies for only $10, and vote for the best one.

All proceeds go to the Friends of the Youngstown Free Library, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit whose mission is to support the Youngstown Free Library.
