Press Release

Get ready to rock out with multi-Platinum Canadian rock band Theory of a Deadman, joining the February lineup at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. Save the date for Feb. 2, and come see them perform with Juno Award-winner JJ Wilde.

Then, not to be missed is Platinum-selling Canadian artist “Amanda Marshall: The Heavy Lifting Tour” on March 16.

“Get ready to see three outstanding Canadian acts, including powerhouse rock band Theory of a Deadman this February,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing, Niagara Casinos. “Theory of a Deadman has been consistently successful for the past two decades, showcasing their incredible talent. While Amanda Marshall's rich, soulful voice continues to exude poise and assurance, enabling her to effortlessly deliver blues rock classics. This March, guests are in for a real treat.”

Formed during their high school years, Theory of a Deadman emerged from the small town of North Delta, British Columbia, with their self-titled debut album in 2002. Since then, they have achieved major success with hits "All Or Nothing" and "Lowlife." Their latest albums have garnered recognition and awards. “Scars & Souvenirs” is double-Platinum, while “The Truth Is...” achieved Gold certification. With multiple songs reaching Platinum or higher status, they have solidified themselves as a force to be reckoned with in rock music. In fact, their track "RX (Medicate)" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart and was nominated for "Rock Song of the Year" at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Additionally, their album, “Say Nothing,” received critical acclaim and achieved high chart positions.

Joining Theory of a Deadman is JJ Wilde, whose rise to fame in the past 18 months has been nothing short of amazing. Her unique talent has resonated with rock fans worldwide, shattering records and breaking barriers for women in the rock genre. Her debut single, "The Rush," achieved global radio airplay and even hit No. 1 on OUI-FM in France. Her success led to several accolades, including a SOCAN Rock Award, a 2021 Indie Award, and the 2021 JUNO Award for Rock Album of the Year with her debut album, "Ruthless."

On March 16, see singer-songwriter Amanda Marshall, who has released three multi-Platinum albums since 1995. Her debut is one of only 18 Canadian albums to ever achieve Diamond status in Canada, and to date it has sold more than 6 million copies worldwide. The album spawned seven Top 10 hit singles, including "Let It Rain," "Beautiful Goodbye," "Dark Horse,” "Fall From Grace," "Sitting on Top of the World" and "Birmingham.” 2001's “Everybody's Got A Story” marked a change in style and sound for Marshall, with a more noticeable R&B direction. The album produced three Top 10 hit singles and was quadruple-platinum within 10 weeks of its release.

Tickets for all performances go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15. Visit www.ticketmaster.ca.
