The Halloween trick or treat schedule in the City of Niagara Falls will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31. We ask all drivers to watch out for children walking on roadways, curbs, and medians.
Drive at least 5 miles below the speed limit, have headlights on to make yourself more visible, and always be on the lookout for children when backing out of driveways.
Parents, we ask you not to send any child under the age of 12 out trick or treating without supervision.
Make sure your child’s costume does not obstruct their vision and that they have some sort of reflector tape on their costume, or a flashlight to make it easier to be seen by drivers. Plan and discuss the trick or treat route and only go to familiar neighborhoods. Instruct them to only go to well-lit houses, and never go into a stranger’s home or garage.
