Bills' Shaq Lawson & Mercedes Wilson to visit Jefferson Ave. Tops for meet & greet

Tops Friendly Markets will welcome Buffalo Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson and local food entrepreneur Mercedes Wilson for a meet & greet and product tasting event on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The event will take place from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Tops location at 1275 Jefferson Ave., Buffalo). Lawson will sign autographs and take photos.

“Since the moment that I got back to Buffalo to begin our quest to bring a championship to this great city and Bills Mafia, I’ve been wanting to get out to the Jefferson Tops to check in on everyone including the staff, who is often overlooked,” he said. “I look forward connecting with my friend, Mercedes, to sample some Sadie’s Relish, and interacting with everyone from the community and the staff. I like to have fun with everything that I do, so this will be no different. … I may even have a surprise or two.”

Wilson, owner of Sadie’s Relish, will also be on hand for a tasting of her relish, a family-inspired recipe she brought to life and to Tops shelves in 2022.
