Tents up in Porter on the Lake Town Park in preparation for Mighty Niagara

Porter on the Lake Town Park will host the finish line to the Mighty Niagara Half Marathon this weekend. The event will take place on Saturday Sept. 30. The day includes two races: the Mighty Niagara Half Marathon and the Hospice Dash 5K. 

The half marathon race will begin at 9:15 a.m. at Artpark in Lewiston. Runners will then make their way along the 13.1-mile course and cross the finish line at Porter on the Lake Town Park. The course takes runners past scenic views showcasing the beauty of the area. 

The Hospice Dash 5K will begin and end in the same location, Porter on the Lake Town Park. This race begins at 9 a.m. Both courses are USA Track and Field certified.

For those who want to participate, it is not too late to register. Registration can be done online or in person at Crunch Fitness on Military Road in Niagara Falls. Registration for both races is available until the start of the race.
