Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center announced its ongoing TV installation project is “well underway and on track for completion by the end of August.” This initiative, made possible by a $200,000 donation from local philanthropist Russell J. Salvatore in April, “aims to significantly enhance the patient experience throughout the medical campus.”

A hospital press release continued, “More than 270 smart televisions have been ordered and are currently being installed in various areas throughout the medical campus. These installations encompass patient hospital rooms, resident rooms at the Schoellkopf Nursing Home, as well as common areas. Ranging in size from 16 inches to 50 inches, these modern televisions will offer a wide range of engaging content, which has the potential to positively impact patient outcomes, promoting a more conducive healing environment.”

NFMMC CEO and President Joseph A. Ruffolo said, “We are thrilled with the progress of our TV installation project and the tremendous benefits it will bring to our patients. By providing a personalized television experience, complemented by a comprehensive wellness network, we are fostering an environment that prioritizes patient well-being and equips them with valuable resources for their recovery."

The hospital added, “Installation teams are diligently working to ensure the seamless integration of the new televisions, strategically placing them for maximum impact. This project underscores NFMMC's unwavering commitment to improving the patient experience through the fusion of innovative technology and compassionate care.”
