Ed Burrows, son of Don and Fran Burrows of Grand Island, passed away on Feb. 27, 2023. He was 56 years old and passed peacefully with his parents by his side.
Ed was born with spina bifida, but didn’t let it stop him from living a life beyond expectation. He loved to drag race and was the only driver with hand controls at Lancaster Speedway, which became another home to him. After college, he worked for 30 years.
He accomplished so much, worked hard and lived his life his way! He was admired by so many friends on Grand Island for his friendship and for his perseverance.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" for Ed at Trinity Church Grand Island, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 29, followed by a brunch and time for friends and family to commemorate his life.
