NFMMC: Carlson new medical director of Wound Center of Niagara

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center announces the appointment of Russell Elliott Carlson, M.D., as the medical director of the Wound Center of Niagara.

A press release stated, “With an impressive background as a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon and over 37 years of invaluable experience in the medical field, Dr. Carlson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.”

The press release added, “Carlson completed his medical education at The Texas A&M University System Health Science Center College Of Medicine and is affiliated with prestigious medical facilities such as ECMC Health Campus and Kenmore Mercy Hospital. As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Association of Wound Management, Dr. Carlson possesses a deep understanding of wound care and is well-equipped to lead the Wound Center of Niagara.
